In 1998 Brandt Hoekenga established Hoekenga Design, a traditional design house specializing in graphic design, packaging, identity design and web design. Shortly thereafter Christy Hoekenga left her position at a prominent local winery to focus her skills on Hoekenga Design full-time. For the next 11 years the client list grew and the requests for more in-depth and all-inclusive campaigns became more frequent.
In 2009 Brandt and Christy joined forces with Britta Foster and TIV was formed as a way to offer clients more of an ‘agency’ experience. Britta’s marketing background and extensive experience coupled with Hoekenga Design’s array of services proved to be an instant success and before long TIV absorbed Hoekenga Design.
For many of Hoekenga Design’s loyal clients the transition from Hoekenga Design to TIV went completely unnoticed. But a large number of clients began to take advantage of the additional services now available to them. As a result, TIV’s portfolio of complete branding and marketing campaigns has grown quickly in a short amount of time. Clients understand that the business model TIV operates under makes a great deal of sense to both small and large companies alike.
