notes: When two local entrepreneurs approached us to work on developing the branding for their new business we jumped at the chance. The healthy vending concept seemed like an incredible opportunity that would benefit hugely from strong branding. We felt the design of their machine wraps were paramount as they would be the most public-facing aspect of the business.
OF Logic Identity
client: OF Logic
notes: When TIV was engaged to create an identity package for the tech startup OF Logic, the biggest challenge was how best to create a recognizable logo that would work as a stand-alone identity as well as work with a number of potential sub brands. We decided a unique word mark was the best strategy and the result is a logo lockup that can work on its own but also plays well with others.
Balletto Vineyards Logo
client: Balletto Vineyards
notes: We worked with Balletto to develop their identity and packaging when they first moved from vegetable and grape farmers to wine producers in 2001. The farmer and the French plow was a great way to reinforce the Balletto family's roots. We illustrated the woodcut style icon, developed the original package and recently redesigned the packaging.
Dairy Balance Identity
client: Foster Farms Dairy
notes: Dairy Balance entered the market as the first probiotic fortified milk. The logo needed to feel healthy and bright while maintaining a modern design to reinforce this industry-leading product. We chose the butterfly as a symbol because it represented the feeling the benefits of probiotics could provide the consumer.
Weaving Earth Logo
client: Weaving Earth
notes: The name and services of Weaving Earth revolve entirely around the concept of interaction between all aspects of nature. We designed an identity that illustrated that what seems like chaos in nature is actually full of patterns when you look close…
Sales Eagle Identity
client: Sales Eagle
notes: Sales Eagle is an internet startup that relies heavily on its website to engage potential clients. We designed a strong, confident logo that was reinforced by the icons populating the website.
Ergo Chef Identity
client: Ergo Chef
notes: The difference between Ergo Chef and other knives is immediately evident when you use one of their products. When we were hired to redesign the Ergo Chef identity, we decided the focus needed to be on the technical aspects of their ergonomically correct knives. We focused on the unique shape of the knives and highlighted the ergonomic curve by running the Ergo Chef type along the top of the knife.
notes: The Solex identity was part of a packaging redesign project. The style of the wine was changing and the new design had to reflect the new, brighter and lighter flavor profile. The sun image that became the icon for the brand was carried over to the inside of the back label so it was visible through the wine.
notes: Plum's tagline says it all: Fresh talent. Juicy careers. We designed a logo that had the sporty feeling that Plum's service focuses on while still feeling professional. The result is a strong and recognizable icon and type treatment.
McMillen Mechanical Identity
client: McMillen Mechanical
notes: McMillen Mechanical came to us complaining that everyone they worked with had logos that looked exactly the same. They asked us to take a different approach to their logo. We decided a personal feeling signature treatment would not only give an endorsement of the quality of their work, but would stand out in an industry filled with straight lines.
